Overview
With nearly 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Tim Boulis brings a diverse background in glass and glazing, construction management, project leadership, and safety to his role as Safety Director & Business Development at Frontier Glass Inc.
His career has taken him from the field as a glazier and project foreman to managing large-scale construction projects, developing safety programs, and leading Lean construction initiatives. Now returning to his roots in the glazing industry, Tim brings a broad perspective and an extensive network of professional relationships to Frontier.
Tim’s connection to the industry began early. His father was a glazier, and during his youth Tim spent summers working alongside him and gaining firsthand experience in the trade. After serving in the United States Navy, he returned home and pursued glazing full-time. His prior experience allowed him to progress quickly through an advanced apprenticeship, eventually becoming a project foreman responsible for managing multiple field projects.
Tim’s career later expanded into construction management, where his experience and strong relationships in the field led to an opportunity as an Assistant Project Superintendent. Over the next nine years, he advanced through Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager roles, overseeing large-scale projects from pre-bid through completion. Along the way, he also took on safety leadership responsibilities and championed Lean construction initiatives
Current Role & Responsibilities

In Business Development, Tim focuses on building strategic partnerships, strengthening client relationships, expanding Frontier’s network, and creating opportunities for long-term growth. His nearly two decades in the industry have allowed him to develop a broad network of professional connections across multiple companies, creating valuable relationships with clients, contractors, and industry partners.
Tim also brings experience in Lean construction practices, having previously served as a Lean champion on a construction management project. In that role, he helped track progress and teach Lean construction

Professional Passion & Motivation
Tim is passionate about the people and relationships that make the construction industry unique. He enjoys connecting with others, learning their backgrounds, and building the long-term relationships that often extend throughout an entire career. He also values the tangible impact of construction and takes pride in being able to look at a completed project and know, “We did that.”
For Tim, the impact of construction extends far beyond the completion of a project. The homes, schools, hospitals, and other buildings created today can serve communities for generations, and he has often found himself returning to projects years later and experiencing the full-circle connection to work he helped build.
He approaches challenges with a calm and open-minded mindset, believing there is always a solution and that challenges can also provide opportunities to improve processes and prevent the same issues from occurring again. Above all, Tim takes pride in his integrity, believing that trust, honesty, and staying true to your word are among the most important qualities a person can bring to their work.
Returning to his roots in construction and joining Frontier Glass gives Tim the opportunity to apply nearly two decades of experience while reconnecting with familiar faces and becoming part of a new team. He is excited to bring his experience, relationships, and passion for safety and construction to Frontier’s continued growth.
