Frontier Glass is Moving – We Started Small. We Grew. And Now We’re Making Room for What’s Next.

“We Started Small. We Grew. And Now We’re Making Room for What’s Next.”

In 1998, Frontier Glass began with 1 person, a lot of hard work, and a simple commitment: do good work, take care of our customers, and take pride in what we put our name on.

Nearly three decades later, that same commitment is still at the heart of everything we do. But a lot has changed along the way.

And now, we’re ready for another big step.
Frontier Glass has purchased a new facility in Rochester, and later this year, we will be moving into our new home.

We’re not quite ready to share all of the details just yet—but there’s much more to come.

Making Room to Grow

The decision to move wasn’t simply about having a newer or bigger building. This move marks an important milestone for Frontier—it will be our fourth shop location since we started, and each move along the way has reflected another stage of our growth.

We’ve reached a point where we genuinely need more physical space to support the way Frontier works today—and the way we want to work tomorrow.

Our operations have continued to grow. We’re cutting, assembling, fabricating, producing and installing more, including the production and assembly of metal panels. As our capabilities have expanded, so has the amount of material, equipment and workspace needed to do the job properly.

This new facility gives us the room to take that next step. More shop space. More warehouse space. More room for fabrication and assembly. Better

This isn’t just another move. It’s the next chapter in Frontier’s growth—and a space built to support where we’re headed next.

We’re also expanding our fabrication capabilities with new, state-of-the-art equipment, including a new Rhino machine that will provide additional capabilities and allow us to take on mitering work.
This will be our third upgrade in seven years to our Rino fabrication center.

For our customers, these improvements are about more than machinery and square footage. They’re about creating a company that is better equipped to deliver the quality, craftsmanship, responsiveness and service that our customers have come to expect from Frontier.

A Bigger Company, Without Losing What Made Us Who We Are

Growth can change a company. We don’t want it to change the things that matter most.

The current Frontier Glass location has been a huge part of our story. It’s where many of the people who have been with us for 15 years or more started their careers. It’s where people have learned the trade, built friendships, solved problems, celebrated successes and, in many cases, spent a significant part of their lives.

Some employees have retired after years with Frontier Glass. Others have only recently joined us. Everyone has contributed something to the story. There is something particularly special about the fact that so many Frontier employees have brought their families into the company.

Parents, Children, Relatives, and Friends

That doesn’t happen by accident. You don’t usually recommend your workplace to the people closest to you unless you believe there’s something worth being a part of.

And we’ve seen that belief reflected in our team. Some of our employees have been with Frontier for 15, 20 years or more. That’s something we’re incredibly proud of—not just because of the experience and knowledge they’ve brought to the company, but because it speaks to the kind of place we’ve worked hard to build together.

That’s one of the things we’re most proud of – Frontier has grown in size, but it remains a family business at heart.

And this year, that family connection is becoming even more meaningful. Laura, Frank’s daughter, joined the company, making Frontier Glass officially a second-generation family-run business.

While the company has grown considerably since 1998, the values behind it haven’t changed. Hard work, integrity, craftsmanship, safety, customer service and a commitment to doing things the right way remain at the center of what we do.

Built for the Next Chapter

Our new facility represents something important to us.It’s a reflection of how far we’ve come—and a foundation for where we’re going.

We’re proud of the small company that started in 1998. We’re proud of the people who helped build it. We’re proud of the customers who trusted us with their projects and gave us the opportunity to grow.

And we’re excited about what comes next.

As Frontier continues to expand, our goal isn’t simply to take on more work. It’s to become better at what we already do while continuing to develop the skills, technology, equipment and people needed to take on the challenges ahead.

We’re continuing to grow our team, too. We’re always looking for great people to join Frontier, particularly experienced and motivated field crew members. If you’re interested in becoming part of a growing, family-oriented company, we encourage you to explore our career opportunities and apply through our website.

The new building is another step in that journey.

We started with 1 person. Today, we’re a team of more than 50.

And we’re still growing. The next chapter of Frontier Glass is already taking shape.

We’re making room for what’s next.

–More details about our new facility, our move and what it means for Frontier Glass are coming soon.

Worked with Frank many years ago during my Syracuse Glass days. I probably helped deliver some of his first sheets of glass. Always a fun group of people to deliver to and they made me feel like family. I wish Frank, his family and Frontier Glass many years of success!
